About CoderVets


CoderVets is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Workforce Development organization, officially born in March 2017. We offer paid apprenticeship training in software development -- a full-time job -- with benefits, including G.I. Bill payout *on top of* paycheck -- for eligible military veterans, reservists and family, including family of active duty service-members and fallen heroes.

We are a Registered Apprenticeship program in partnership with U.S. Department of Labor & U.S. Office of Apprenticeship. We're federal Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act pioneers and an Eligible Training Provider in the state of Missouri. Our headquarters is the Greater St. Louis, Missouri area. 

Our 1 year apprenticeship program is three-fold:

  1. 2,000 hours On-The-Job Training w/partner employers
  2. 500 hours Instructional Training
  3. Ongoing Mentorship.

Mission Statement

To ensure military veterans gain marketable tech skills by offering paid apprenticeship training in software development, creating strong mentor-protégé relationships, and deploying workforce-ready veterans into mission-minded organizations that pledge to hire them.
